A dedicated team of young artists, passionate students and fans are involved in the making of Ceramics Now:
Vasi Hîrdo is Editor-in-Chief at Ceramics Now Magazine, curator of Ceramics Now Exhibition and coordinator of the first edition of Cluj International Ceramics Biennale (Cluj-Napoca, October 2013). He is currently studying Art History (Criticism) at the Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. He loves Iceland.
Alexandra Mureşan recently graduated the Glass section of the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca. Her latest work, titled “Panta rhei”, is an incursion in the contemporary glass aesthetics.
Andra Baban recently graduated with a Masters degree in Ceramics from the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca. Over her study years, she often used the bi-dimensional as a starting point, transforming flat surfaces such as children drawings and old photographs into volumetric expressions, reformulating and giving them new meanings.
Ileana Surducan has a Masters in Ceramics from the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca, and is currently working as a freelance illustration artist interested in the fields of children’s book illustration, comics and character design.
Anca Sânpetrean is a student in her final year at the Ceramics section of the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca. Being very patient, she often creates pocket-size assemblies with narrative qualities.
Cora Pojaru is a young artist who works in ceramics, graphics and painting, but she frequently mixes these artistic techniques to make urban art. She is currently studying Ceramics at the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca.
Andrei Sîncrăian is the Founding Art Director of Ceramics Now and lead guitarist at Lights Out!. He is a perfectionist.
Radu Arieşan is a very skillful person, juggling between Art History and Architecture. Being a creative mind, he is passionate about unicycling and jazz music.
Gavril Zmicală - Ceramic Art professor and artist with a great spiritual presence.
