🔥 The Kohila International Woodfired Ceramics Symposium (in Estonia) just concluded and the fantastic team of participants & organizers will open their final exhibition on Saturday. 🥳 Later this week, the Art in Clay ceramics festival will celebrate its 27th year of the show. Well-known artists and up-and-coming ceramicists will both display and sell their art at an exciting new venue the Royal Windsor Racecourse, Berkshire on August 20, 21 and 22. About 200 artists will display their artworks at the event. The programme also includes ceramic talks and demonstrations, and a Creation Zone for children and adults.
👌 Don’t miss it! The deadline for the 2022 NCECA Annual Exhibition is September 8. Curated by Angelik Vizcarrondo-Laboy, Belonging, the 2022 NCECA Annual exhibition will be one of the cornerstone events of the upcoming conference in Sacramento, California. The Crocker Art Museum will be dedicating more than 4,000 square feet of space to the exhibition’s installation.
☕ Traditional food moulds from the collection of Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent will take centre stage this summer, as artist Nuala Clooney reimagines traditional pottery designs and techniques at a public tea party. The project will culminate in a tea party at Middleport Pottery on Saturday, August 21. Admission is free but tickets need to be booked in advance.
📍 The Galway Potters Market will take place later this week at the Spanish Arch in Galway. 28 selected potters and ceramic artists from all over Ireland will be displaying and selling their work.

🔍 50 years, 50 artists, an anniversary exhibition is on view at Centre céramique contemporaine La Borne, France / The international contest and exhibition “Premio di arte ceramica Fratelli Melis 2021” is on view in the city of Bosa, Sardinia, Italy / Ferrin Contemporary extended their exhibition, MELTING POINT, until September 25 / Flying Beautifully – Exhibition by Taiwanese Female Ceramicists is on view at the New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum / Jeroen Bechtold: Dive Fingerprints will open on Sunday at Galerie del Campo, the Netherlands
