Ceramics Now Magazine is an ad-free journal dedicated to contemporary ceramics. It offers a curated selection of in-depth articles, artist profiles, news, and exhibition highlights from around the world—published in a collectible, premium format.

After subscribing, you’ll get instant access to the magazine’s digital format and downloadable PDFs. Ceramics Now Magazine is a digital publication featuring 100-120 pages of carefully curated content. It is published monthly, except for December and August. In 2026, the magazine is taking a break in March instead of December.

Subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel at any time. Subscribers can manage their subscriptions via Stripe.

Ceramics Now Magazine is available as a print-on-demand edition for readers who appreciate the tactile experience of print. Each issue is printed on premium paper, made to order, and sold at cost, creating a collectible object for those who value thoughtful design and lasting content. The magazine has no ads. We don’t offer print subscriptions because traditional printing and shipping would make them costly and less sustainable.

The latest issue of Ceramics Now Magazine

Ceramics Now Magazine Issue 18 (April 2026) features the work of Gaku Nakane on the cover, recipient of the Grand Prize at the Kikuchi Biennale XI: The Present of Ceramics, held at the Kikuchi Kanjitsu Memorial Tomo Museum in Tokyo. This issue brings together essays that explore ceramics through memory, ornament, ecology, and material history.
