Ritsue Mishima: Riflessioni is on view at Pierre Marie Giraud, Brussels

October 15 – November 7, 2020

Pierre Marie Giraud is pleased to announce Ritsue Mishima’s sixth solo exhibition in Brussels. On view from October 15 through November 7, 2020, ‘Riflessioni’ features new glass sculptures and vessels. With her fascination for the plays of light and transparency, Ritsue Mishima feels at home in Venice – surrounded by the water. Working in close collaboration with the city’s artisans, the Japanese artist orchestrates in the furnaces of glass blowers, the production of her artworks in an attempt to capture and shape light itself. A making process that passes between many hands. Her energetic and sculptural production exclusively uses colourless glass. Each work has its own life, character and identity.
