🔥 The Internationale Keramiktage Oldenburg is ON later this week! Over 100 ceramic artists from all over Europe will meet in Oldenburg for a celebration of ceramics, which includes an international fair and exhibitions. This year, an online presentation of the participants is also available.

📙 I just discovered the Ceramic Literacy Bookclub, a fantastic project curated by Bridget Fairbank. Each month, she invites artists and creative minds to discuss a book about ceramics. This month, it’s The Art of The Future: 14 Essays on Ceramics by Paul Mathieu. If you’d like updates on this, join Bridget’s newsletter.

🎓 Registrations are now open for the Fall 2021 Courses at the Harvard Ceramics Program. From beginning wheel throwing to hand building, figurative and abstract sculpture to experimental photography on clay, they have courses to suit adults of all levels.

📍 The City Council of Bailen (Spain) announced that applications are open for the online International Fair and Contest of Artistic and Structural Ceramic of Bailén, to be held (online) in October. Participation is free.

💻 The International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemét (Hungary) will start organizing online courses this fall. These masterclasses will be live in real time with the tutors, bringing their teaching directly into your own workshop. Courses: Illustrating on Clay with Wendy Kershaw, Sculpting Nature with Wendy Lawrence, China Painting with Ilona Romule, LandEscapes with Steve Mattison.
