Part-time – open until filled

Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for Art Instructor in Ceramics. This is a part-time, temporary exempt position on a semester-by-semester basis dependent upon the needs of our students and the university.

The duties as the Instructor in Art – Ceramics will include teaching Ceramics I and Ceramics II (depending on enrollments perhaps multiple sections), maintaining the ceramics studio inventory of clay and supplies, supervising of clay mixing and the firing process.

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Fine Arts
  • Experience teaching at the collegiate or secondary school level is desirable.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellent undergraduate instruction.
